We are looking for a Cable Installation Manager to ensure safe and successful delivery of the offshore foundation installation works for offshore wind in the Asian-Pacific Region.
As Cable Installation Manager, you will handle large offshore installation procurement and cable contracts, as well as making recommendations and optimization of installation and logistics concepts relating to your scope. Moreover, you will actively take part in planning, coordinating, monitoring the development phases of the installation activities together with main contractors, sub-contractors, and suppliers.

Description of main responsibilities:
• Management of cable installation, ensuring that contingency plans are being developed as required.
• Execute installation contract including contract management of claims and variations.
• Ensure that installation vessel charter agreements are in place.
• Ensure that the installation scope is analyzed and optimized to ensure the safest and most efficient installation possible.
• Ensure that documentation is being managed and aligned with the nominated MWS.
• Ensure that the contractors installation method statements and risk assessments are being reviewed and recommendation are given to improve the installation setup.
• Manage the installation sea fastening design, related QA and compliance with international and national requirements.
• Provide input to package budgets
• Working with the package team to ensure that relevant risk and interface items are identified, considered, and mitigated.
• Manage and coordinate installation interfaces with other team members (e.g. through interface matrix).

Qualification:

• Proven experience in a similar role within the offshore/onshore wind industry. Great experience with foundations and WTG being beneficial.
• Spent a significant amount of time on installation sites and knowledge about the entire installation process.
• Good understanding of the technology of Wind Turbines utilized in the offshore wind industry.
• Experience within procurement, contract, and claim management (e.g. FIDIC and BIMCO contracts would be beneficial).
• Proficient in both written and oral English communication.
• Good interpersonal skills and a team player.
• Ability to keep the overview, work under pressure, and to tight deadlines.
